My morning song is a song sung along
The edge of a canyon rim.
Starlight dreams become, it seems,
My morning requiem.
Sun rising higher, morning fire
Burning darkness away
Rocky place suspended in space
Then softer by light of day.
Nothing’s wrong singing this song
A misty morning call
Mists disappear so does fear
Atop the canyon wall.
